ORIENTATION WEBSITE UPDATES
Incoming first-year students are responsible for reading all materials posted on the Orientation website. In an effort to support the campus-wide Go Green! Go White! recycling initiative, the Law College is no longer sending out paper materials for Orientation.
All information related to Orientation and starting your law school career at MSU Law can be found online. For example, the orientation schedule, reading assignments for orientation sessions, service project information, information on textbooks, parking, student health insurance, etc. Be sure to check http://www.law.msu.edu/orientation/ every day for new postings.
ORIENTATION ATTENDANCE
Incoming students must attend all scheduled orientation events listed on the orientation schedule, unless stated otherwise. Any questions e-mail osalaw@law.msu.edu
TECHNOLOGY TRAINING SESSION REGISTRATION
Everyone must register for technology training sessions one and three. Session two is optional. To register, click on the link titled "Register for Technology Training" at: http://www.law.msu.edu/orientation/
SERVICE PROJECT ASSIGNMENTS
Service project assignments will be e-mailed by the end of this week. Additional service project information will be posted this week.
TWEN ACCESS
Everyone will get their Westlaw password (and access to TWEN) during technology training session three. NOTE: You must take technology training session one BEFORE you can attend session three. Register for your session one and session three trainings at: http://www.law.msu.edu/orientation/
LANSING LUGNUTS GAME
Mark your calendars! Student Affairs is hosting a Lansing Lugnuts game to celebrate the start of another academic year. Join fellow 1Ls and student leaders for this Spartan Law summertime tradition. Guests are welcome!
When: Thursday, August 27, 2009 at 7:05pm and wear your Spartan gear -Go Green! Go White! Evening students, please join us after your RWA class.
Where: Oldsmobile Park, 505 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing
How to get tickets: Submit a reservation form, which can be found on the orientation website, along with payment as soon as possible. We will e-mail you once tickets are ready for pick up during Orientation. Our mailing address is: MSU College of Law, 308B Law College Building, East Lansing, MI 48824. You may also submit cash payment in person to Student Affairs.
